wondering girl in yellow jacket

“Have you ever had something so amazing yet crazy happen to you that you didn’t think people would believe it?”

Book Reviews

  • “Purdy DeWitt is a marvel. Her flair with a pen is rivaled only by her keen anthropological mind. I give this book an enthusiastic five stars, and would give it an entire constellation if I could!”

    ~ Prof. Irving Mandible

  • “One more thing… my apologies. In addition to being a once-in-a-generation literary and anthropological talent, Miss DeWitt is also a kind and lovely person! All right, that’s all. Read her wonderful book!”

    ~ Prof. Irving Mandible (again)

  • “All right, fine, ONE more thing. Purdy is also quite good at illustration. You’ll enjoy the drawings as much as you’ll enjoy the words!”

~ Prof. Irving Mandible (a third and final time)
